I remember (and, admittedly, it’s been mumble mumble decades ago) when Republicans could look their children and grandchildren in the eyes, and tell them what they did. Can anybody imagine this current crop telling ANY honest intelligent patriotic people (whether relatives or not) what they’ve done while a traitor was (temporarily) in the Oval Office, and looking them in the eyes while doing it?
I realize that it’s part of the stereotype that a huge number of Republican troglodytes are old white guys, but when it comes to keeping kids in cages, let’s not forget Kirstjen Nielsen. Downplaying obstruction? Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Making excuses? Kellyanne Conway. Ruining America’s public schools? Betsy DeVos.
One of the things I’ve learned from this administration is that there are people who actually admire some of the things he does that make me sad/angry/dyspeptic. Brought home by the cartoon showing a couple being nauseated by reports that he slept with a hooker while married; while on the other side of the ‘toon, a couple of guys are high-fiving each other because it’s so cool that he slept with a hooker while married.

Panama, Nicaragua, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, North Africa, GOP morons have done their best to make sure we need to honor more for their service each Memorial day.
