Democrats are soft on crime? It isn’t the democrats that pardoned traitors.

Gorrell is soft in the head.

Crime spree? I like how Biden is being blamed for crime rates during Trump’s presidency. The only things dumber than the GOP are the people who believe them.

Trump used the US justice system as his own whipping post. Illegally pardoned criminals in order to obstruct justice.

Gee, Ramirez, where were you in 2020, before the election?

    CITY _______________ 2020 _ 2019 _ DIFFERENCE _ PCT CHANGE

    Chicago ____________771 ___ 495 ____+276 _________ +55.8%

    Philadelphia _______499___ 356_____ +143_________ +40.2%

    New York __________468 ____319_____ +149_________ +46.7%

There’s nothing like a corporate cartoon which beats a falsehood to death. First, crime goes up during economic crises and during the summer. Second, “defund the police” doesn’t mean what is so implied in the cartoon. Third, there’s no connection between “liberal policies” and crime. Laughably, our problem is with “prison industries”, another form of welfare for the wealthy.

Biden’s bill provides more money for police forces. GOP votes against it. GOP supports the insurrectionists who beat up police. Don’t try to say the GOP supports the police. Actions speak louder than words.

The GOP Leadershit will eventually claim that the 06 January insurrectionists stormed the Capitol to protest the allegedly rising crime rate precipitated by the repeated refusal of the GOP Leadershit to fund anti-crime, pro-Law Enforcement federal legislation AND to support the insurrectionists’ right to break all the local and federal laws that blocked their breaching the Capitol, invading the Capitol, vandalizing the Capitol, & murdering Law Enforcement Officers who tried to enforce the law and whose efforts saved the lives and the well being of many, many GOP Leadershit quislings who now turn their backs on Law Enforcement nationwide.

One of the major reasons for the high crime rate is the liberal governors and mayors releasing criminals, virtually emptying the prisons and the Democrat Attourney Generals refusing to prosecute criminals. Added to this misery Democrat rulers have either rewritten laws or otherwise told their police force to ignore many crimes. Shoplifting has gotten so bad in some places like San Francisco and Portland that many stores that serves poorer communities have closed down.

Conservatives pretend crime rates aren’t rising in cities that haven’t made cuts to police budgets. But when they do acknowledge it, they’ll just blame people of color, poor people, and immigrants.

So the strategy is to just ignore the past 4 years huh? Nah… we remember how the right acted … don’t try to claim to be the tough on crime party anymore, nor the party of fiscal responsibility nor the party of family values and definitely not the party of self responsibility.

Defund the police was worded poorly – it should have been de-militarize the police. SWAT teams are sent far too often, flash bang grenades are thrown into homes (including severely injuring a baby in a crib IN THE WRONG HOUSE), and police empty their high-capacity weapons (Laquan McDonald) without a single thought, no-knock warrants granted too easily (Breonna Taylor; the one the police were looking for was already in custody). There needs to be more money used for public support, including for mental health. In my county, police used to have to work in the jail before becoming police officers, which gave them an opportunity to work in a controlled environment with prisoners WITHOUT A GUN.

Ramirez, the REPUBLICANS have repeatedly voted AGAINST funds for the police.

I’ll repeat that – the REPUBLICANS have repeatedly voted AGAINST funds for the police.

Chris Wallace from Fox even called the Repubs out on this.
