It really is hard to grow unity using hate, division, lies, cruelty, and racism. Already, America looks like a much smaller place.

I wish Trumpism was a hoax. Just like global warming, it’s not.

I guess “uncontrolled proliferating corruption” is too long to squeeze onto a coconut.

When I ask cheeto supporters “WHY???” the response I often get is that they like where things are headed. Huh? What part? NOTHING has actually been solved, just more issues created. The corruption of those “in charge” is stunning, but no one calls them on it. We have alienated the planet, except for some of the worst people. But I guess calling other world leaders names and having temper tantrums WOULD have that effect. We are no closer to solving “the immigrant problem,” quite the opposite, a humanitarian crisis has been created. The environmental rollbacks have created a bigger crisis for all living beings. The country will take generations to be able to speak to each other, let alone have any cohesion. What part of all this is appealing?

The problem most INTELLIGENT people have understanding a Trump supporter is they don’t understand the thought process involved (and, yes, Virginia, there IS a thought process here!)

INTELLIGENT people follow this path: you find a candidate that expresses your desires in a meaningful way, you elect that person, and that person then attempts to carry out your wishes in the most effective way possible.

Trumpians do not follow this path and NEVER HAVE. First, at at least at a subliminal level, they understand that the way of life they wish for, died with the American Civil War and can never be revived,

So, what they wish for, and what they elected in 2016, is an entity that thinks likes they do and is shameless enough to say what THEY are thinking at any given moment. They neither want nor even desire someone who’s a deep thinker; someone who’ll perform flawlessly on the world stage, because they couldn’t give a “rat’s ass” about what goes on in the next county, let alone what happens in another COUNTRY!

Trump makes them feel good because Trump is “LIKE” them – he is “them”, write large, and, because he IS them, they will forgive him almost anything, and will also believe anything he TELLS them to believe – they “KNOW” with a deep, abiding knowledge, that the rest of the world is out to get Trump (and, by extension, them, as well)!

The whole world may believe (rightly) that Trump is an unmitigated disaster, but, to a Trumpian, he IS NOT – he is their “protector” – the only thing standing between them and an an UNCARING WORLD!

Just think this country almost totally alone won World War 2 just so we could end up with this Male Bovine Excrement. yes Britain and Russia helped but without the American financial support and materiale they would have both been defeated.

He needs to be on an island of his own, and that one fits the bill.
