Democracy is a social experiment that has shown itself to be very fragile. Recent events in the US should be a warning to Democracies everywhere.

Guess which one the republicans are cheering for.

That would be nice. But they don’t use arm wrestling. Though, come to think of it, they DO use force of arms, sometimes. Too damn often.

On the side of evil: someone who looks Asian. On the side of good: a blonde woman.

Self-entitled aggressive power-seeker versus passive apathetic uninformed/disinterested citizen.

Can she do it? Yes, she can!

Just remember that Crazy Mike Lindell, the “My Pillow” guy says that the military is ALREADY running things in America in Secret, and that Agolf Twitler will be back in office in August…or is it September…or October… or November…

But is it possible to have freedom and dignity for all in countries with tens and hundreds of millions of people? I would think that Democracy would eventually lose, that another plane of Tribalism would be reached, under an Uber Tribal Leader. The US has very often supported military dictatorships around the world. It’s a kind of fantasy that the US is the great friend of democracy. Even in the US itself, the battle for democracy has been long and hard. I grew up going to a segregated school where we pledged allegiance to the flag “with freedom and justice for all.” This is all ideological illusion.

Dictators are individuals.. democracy is a concept that individuals can easily erode. The power of propaganda is in the hands of individuals.. guess who wins.

People are dumbass sheep.

They shouldn’t both be using their left hands, should they?
