I get the point, and agree. But there aren’t big crowds this year. CERTAINLY not in DC. Alas.

In a last-gasp grasp for adulation, Trump sent out hundreds (maybe thousands) of email invitations to his farewell address and whatever send-off festivities he has been able to scrounge up on the tarmac before he boards Airforce One to Mar-a-Lago.

It seems he may have just typed the invite into his email account and hit SEND ALL.

The evidence is that many of the invitations went to individuals he has spent recent years full-throatedly condemning. You know, former friends, former close advisers, expelled members of his Cabinet, and others he has re-classified as enemies.

Among verified invitees… Scaramucci, Bolton, Cohen(!). Could Trump be planning to wear an explosive vest to surprise them with deadly confetti?

I haven’t heard if Giuliani made the cut.

Word is, few RSVPs.

He’s still got Hannity, Dobbs, Carlson and a select group of losers that don’t matter.

His last official lie, the next 20,000 will be as a private citizen, or maybe as a defendant.

That’s just his ego being hauled out of town. They will comeback and remove the orange carcASS on the 2nd go around.

Yes, he IS that delusional.

Appropriate send-off music for his departure would be “The Trump Wreck-rium.”

Biden knows what to do to fix broken America! At least he’s a decent human being with compassion, class, experience and dedication!

GOOD BYE, AND GOOD FING RIDDANCE.

We are a nation of immigrants. Unless you came from a reservation, your family were immigrants. My family came from Germany and Ireland, They helped build this nation, along with those black slaves who were forced to work for their white masters without pay and without being able to have stable families like my grandparents. I am a grandparent now, and I treasure my children, their families, and our grandchildren, and just this year, a new great granddaughter. I want for them, and all Americans, and Americans-to be, the work, the joy, the challenge to continue to build this nation, this shining city on a hill, this example for all the world, of how good life can be. We are all in this together. Do we make ourselves better, or do we hate ourselves into oblivion? We have a choice.

Everyone there will have small tear, everyone here will give big cheer.
