When our beloved kitty Alexandra died unexpectedly, a friend who ran a Scottish Fold cattery offered us a kitten. We were looking at the choices. 3 were tabbys, and were rolling & playing & being generally adorable. The 4th one, a black-and-white sat, looked at my husband, then turned away, like, “I’m ignoring you.” She turned to him again, meowed, and turned away again, like, “Look at me ignoring you!” This went on for a few minutes. With that gesture she grabbed his heart. They were inseparable after that.

Actually, in the second panel, I would have thought that Garfield would have said “So?”…

good to know he’s been missed…

My only experience with cats is the three neighbor kitties that come to visit. I call them Fluffy, Sheba, and a new one I call Gray Kitty. They are all affectionate to some degree but they all are just there for the 9 Lives I dish out.

Our 18 yr old man kitty is hubby’s boy. When I’m sitting right next to him he kind of tolerates me. When hubby comes home from work, he starts to yowl incessantly til hubby sits in his recliner for pat-pats.
