Who are you and what have you done with Jon? Veggie burger is just another way of punishing the consumer thereof.

Is Jon even capable of making fish cakes? Fish may be healthier than beef, but cats love to eat fish.

Just do one of two things, Garfield: either smack Jon silly or (if that doesn’t work) crash a buffet!

We have an entirely vegetarian outlet of McDonald’s here in India. Go figure!

My husband & I once made a little extra money working at a bingo parlour. $20 a night plus dinner at the snack bar. A couple of times we ordered cheeseburgers (when there wasn’t pizza), but we always found it to taste a bit funky…kinda grassy…and not pleasant. Once we asked, and we were assured that it WAS hamburger. One time we saw the person taking the patties out of its package…and it was veggie burgers. We never ordered cheeseburgers there again, and NOBODY can convince me that veggie burgers are “as good” as real hamburgers.

Gotta agree with Garfield on this one

My best friend is a vegetarian. Can make things difficult in restaurants.

Gardein makes a fantastic veggie burger with chipotle flavor. It’s made primarily of black beans and corn and lots of spices. Add some cheese, lettuce, and sandwich spread and brown bread and you’ve got a great burger.

If eating vegetables is so wonderful, why do vegetarians and vegans need to have something that looks and tastes like meat( veggie-burgers)?

If you are a vegetarian, then eat your vegetables. If you are a carnivore, then eat your meat. However no one should, eat fake food. If your a vegetarian, don’t eat fake hamburger. It makes you look just as fake as the Veggie Burger!!

Much like Diet Coke, some people genuinely enjoy the taste of veggie burgers. This led to the creation of a sandwich called “The Hypocrite” – a veggie burger with bacon.

I love a good homemade black bean burger, but those other veggie burgers usually suck.

In the newspaper version this morning Jon said “…instead of a hamburer…”

Jon, that will kill Garfield. Cats are what are known as “obligate carnivores”. They NEED meat in order to be healthy.
