    I remember when Amazon selling things other than books was still relatively new, a guy at work was lamenting that he couldn’t find anyplace online that he trusted to order something he wanted. I suggested Amazon and he slapped his head, saying “Oh, that’s right!”

    was this comic from before the bubble burst? I remember in the early days there were a lot of internet startups that made quite a few people very wealthy for a few months before many of them suddenly went bankrupt
