I carry in my pocket a computer that is a triumph of cyber science. Not only that, but it is connected to the Internet, so I have access to the sum total of human knowledge. I use it to argue with strangers and to look at pictures of cats.
I’m a dog video person myself, but my wife can never seem to find any of those to show to me. So I watch her cat videos, and I have to admit some are pretty amusing.
I don’t know about dogs, but my cats never respond to any animals they see on TV or on my phone. They don’t even react to me if I FaceTime the family from elsewhere. I’m guessing that if they can’t smell it, they don’t consider it worth noticing.
