There beats the heart of a 99%er, I’m sure he’s expecting to get paid during that year off, so it’ll be a fair and level playing field.

Obviously, he doesn’t really want a job. He just wants it to seem like he’s looking for one.

You see, Zonker does have a plan. And it sounds like a damn good one.

Well I think the charming part of Zonker is that he is so totally disconnected from the regular world (and not just by his drug use). Zonker is a totally free spirit living in a world with very few others. Realistic – of course not – but who among us has not dreamed of riding a bicycle across Asia or something else silly? The only people with out those dreams are people without spirit or soul or charm

If the 99K% are all worthless good for nothings, you would be broke. It’s only by the work of the 99%, and the use of the money they earn that you take your huge cuts. Investments are not money in a vacuum. And that’s why so many of us despise the rich. They take and then sneer at anyone who doesn’t devote their entire life either money or power.

“The vast majority of the 99 percenters you so blithely belittle are hardworking folks who cannot get ahead because the system is so rigged against them.”.This shows why we need more immigration, not less. Immigrants recognize the opportunities whereas so many native citizens can only imagine obstacles, deciding the deck is stacked against them. In fact, they don’t understand how the sons of immigrants so often do better than they do.

“And that’s why so many of us despise the rich. They take and then sneer at anyone who doesn’t devote their entire life either money or power.”.Jealousy..some think to themselves, “If I were rich, I would despise those who are not rich. Hey, wait a minute, I am not rich, therefore the rich must despise me. I despise them for despising me.”.I doubt the rich spend much time sneering at anyone.Could be wrong, but just can’t imagine spending time bothering..Certainly reads like jealousy, though..When Zonker was rich, he spent his money on a Lordship.

Nothing like a couple of decade’s worth of foreshadowing, forsooth — it will be years before he actually gets into agribusiness with Zipper.

Zonker knows himself very well. Wonder if his year off would include Walden Pond and conversations with his plants.

Well done, Zonker, good job. Meeting the expectations established for graduates by torpedoing your own job prospects. The man marches to the beat of his own drum.

“Hey, Murray, thanks for Iraq and ISIS.”.Iraq was because we stepped into their internal affairs rather than letting Saddam continue along his path.,ISIS is because we didn’t step into the internal affairs of Syria because President Obama thought it unwise..Never satisfied. All depends on the one needing praise or blame.Never blame the people causing problems themselves or the people not rising up to stop them because they like the new state of affairs..

From“Obama stated that he is “confident” a coalition consisting of 60 nations “will slowly push back ISIL out of Iraq,” but added that the challenge of stopping extremism won’t stop unless there is a political solution to the internal strife affecting so many countries in the Middle East..““What I’m worried about” he said, “is even if ISIL is defeated, the underlying problem of disaffected Sunnis around the world – but particularly in some of these areas including Libya, including Yemen – where a young man who’s growing up has no education, has no prospects for the future, is looking around and the one way he can get validation, power, respect, is if he’s a fighter.”.““That’s a problem we’re going to have, generally. And we can’t keep on thinking about counterterrorism and security as entirely separate from diplomacy, development, education.””..It is obvious he is right. President Bush destroyed the existing government of Iraq and replaced it with a government which concentrated on religious sect rather than regional representation. This led to the previously more powerful Sunnis becoming a disaffected minority..Better to have not gone in but to have replaced it with a government designed to self-destruct was criminal at worst, idiotic at best..and let us not forget disbanding an armed force in Iraq, leaving a bunch of people with weapons, expenses, grudges. Far better to have told them they were now adjuncts to the United States military and their pay would be immediately doubled during times of faithful service..Rumsfeld probably doesn’t rate membership in MENSA based on that decision..Zonker Harris’ agricultural endeavors would probably reduce conflict.

Did I miss the props for GT foreshadowing Zonk’s marijuana business with the reference to agribusiness.
