    Good morning everyone…

Should Tracy be sharing this information?

She’ll twist your words somehow, Tracy.

My comment is unrelated to the current Dick Tracy stortyline. I think Joe and Mike are doing an outstanding job with Dick Tracy.Dick Tracy is one of the first things I learned to read by myself-I guess that’s why it’s still one of my favorite comic strips. My question is about a Dick Tracy story where DT had been captured and was left (I believe) hanging on the side of a building by a rope tied to his wrists. Do you know the story I mean? I know you guys know your Dick Tracy history.

Normally, I don’t mind the colorization of the strip but today’s is horrible especially the first panel.

So she now works for the Screamin’ Busterd’s Network? Is that a video camera in her pen, or does he also do print media?

@VistaBillI wonder, too, VistaBill, whether Tracy isn’t at least bending protocol here by giving out this information to a gossip vulture. —And BTW, quite a display of hats between the two, with Tracy’s shot-up iconic yellow fedora and Wendy Witch’s big salmony thing!

More Rick Fletcher style art today, on Wendy Witchel Exagerated lips and features, but very authentic !

Has wendy have history with DT? Her hat, blue eyes and fountain pin make her a very interesting character. Who is Schrecker? it’s such a joy for daily reading. My life is so busy and complicated, but good ole DT helps with the mundane parts. If that makes sense.

Joe is drawing Wendy exceptionally well. I love the exagerated features…very reminescent of Rick Fletcher. JR, Wendy was a creation of Max Collins during his writing tenure on the strip…late 70’s through the 80’s. She was snoopy newspaper reported who was always trying to get Tracy into trouble for “shooting first” and asking questions later.

    …I like the the bullet hole in Dick’s hat…I know he’s not a PI…so maybe it’s a 3rd eye

I think her last appearance was during the Hi-Top arc, when she pulled off a replica of Geraldo’s Al Capone’s fault fiasco.

Wendy looks like the younger sister of Cruella DeVille (Disney animated version).

She is not “hugging” anyone, she is taking away the 2 henchmen, Winkin and Blinkin’.

I can’t wait for Sunday’s strip, so I can see her outfit change color! (It’s lavender on the ComicsKingdom version, where the colorist does a much better job.)I like the way Mike & Co. have brought SBN and Schrecker back into the storyline in a very plausible way. Now, where is this going to take us?

Re yesterday’s comments:I appreciate all the input on the checkered police hats others posted in reply to my comment about how the ones in the strip make me think of cabbies rather than police officers. I am a lifelong Chicago resident and see Chicago officers every day. If you’d asked me last week, I’d have told you that they don’t wear checkered hats. Now that’s the first thing I notice—and they look great on those who serve and protect in the Windy City. Please keep them on the officers in Dick Tracy, Joe. Thanks.
