It is common practise to not allow facial reconstruction patients to see their faces in the midst of their treatment. He neither confirms or refutes Mystas’ statement. Even if this Mysta turns out to be fake, saying ‘all our skills to re-create you’ is still the truth.
Wish I could remember the issue, but Bats pulled this on the same guy… twice. Both times punching him out.
The third time, the guy had wised up and told Bats they weren’t, and sure enough he’d bought Velcro fasteners. To which Bats sighed, and told Moose that his laces were untied.
