I make a fruit cake that is called “Southern Whiskey Cake”. Even though it is fruit cake, everyone loves it. Maybe soaking it in rum or Southern Comfort is what helps.

I make a fruit cocktail cake – the recipe was given to me by my great aunt who was given it by her mother. Its moist and delicious and I cant wait for fall so I can bake them again! (too hot to do much baking now)

For some reason this reminds me of the Bill Cosby joke about thinking his name was Jesus Christ, until he was 11. His dad would knock on the bathroom door and say, Jesus Christ, are you still in there?
