Don’t pay them. Tell them if they want to eat, or have a bed to sleep in, or even watch TV, they have to pitch in and clean the house. Worked for me with 5 kids.

Trump has gone through 4 bankruptcies. If he were president, and the country was in financial trouble, would he declare it bankrupt?

Last year in Boston, with all the snow, it took until July for the very last bit to melt. Now that’s a lot of snow!

You can’t just have one remote One for the TV, another for the DVR, and if you still use one, a VCR.

Another to work the set top box. Then another to adjust the TV to watch a DVD.

Even if you buy a universal remote, it only works on some items. So you have to specify which remote you are looking for. Not easy.

My dad lived in the city. A street light was just outside his living room window, so he had his chair placed next to this window. He could read the daily paper using the street light. Saved money on his electric bill. Frugal times in the depression (30’s)

Read the book: “Animal, Vegetable and Miracle” by Barbara Kingsolver. Told about how her family decided to live off the land for a year, and how that worked out.

Took LOTS of planning, but the food was the best they had ever tasted. A good read.

I still listen to classical music on my Bose radio. Great sound, and it gives me an excuse to just sit and listen, taking a relaxing break from housework.

Read the old story, “Ransom of Red Chief.” It sounds like it was based on Calvin, if he could have time traveled to the past.

He wants a job from 12 to 1, with an hour off for lunch.
