Ellie loved it- seems that she has found what she is meant to do- run around like crazy doing new things. Only she won’t do it yet, she will hang out at home a while yet, doing what she is meant to. Being there, doing that!

the 50’s were great if you were white, male and straight. otherwise, it wasn’t so great. but then again. a lot of straight white men havn’t learned much since then, as the ignorance is still soooooo deep. lol

Is John really that stupid and out of tune, or does he just like to provoke arguments? Since Lynn was divorced, I would assume she feels that John, representing her ex, was a bit of both.

Yeah, okay. And then if Ellie gets a job and has a totally different schedule than he does (because you know nowadays people work all different crazy times) then John will just complain about her not being around when it is convenient to him.

That is just an expression. Grain is moved from the truck to the bins, or from the bins to the feeders by means of what is basically a pipe with a large screw inside. As the auger turns it moves the grain to where it is wanted. Believe me, it sure beats shovellling it by hand. I have done both.

@lightenup – yeah, Lynn J.‘s been awfully snarky toward men of late. I’m wondering if she’s planning to work her own divorce into the strip’s plotline.

Elly has a full time job. She takes care of the kids, cleans the house, works on her college reports, cooks, washes dishes, does the laundry…Believe me, that’s work. Here’s what I say to you, John: :p
