Remember, folks…. most of our fundraising tonight will be for the MonkeyBlues for Sheriff campaign….
We’ll have at least three booths along the parade route, selling “MonkeyBlues” balloons, buttons, decorated hot dogs, MonkeyCola, monkey cupcakes and a host of other delights… Please help … : the election is only a month off….
And …. in the midst of celebrating the independence of our great country, working hard to get the Monkey elected, AND, dare I hope, enjoying the special whimsicality that Wednesday brings to our fine street…. We have yet a FOURTH project that tonight is meant to aid, and that’s the still-important “Find Essex60 Mission.”
We can’t stop looking till we find him…. so PLEASE, all who care about Ballard County, enjoy some fabulous goodies, and in the process, help elect our next Sheriff, MonkeyBlues….And then, please open your wallets a little wider, and have another hot dog (Hey, anybody can eat two hot dogs!)….. or protect your brain with a large cup of Marg and Susans SuperStrength Ultra Brain Beach …. or both…. at the Find Essex60 Mission table under the grandstand!
As for Martin…. my sister used to do exactly that,when we were kids.She also used to read with her top half hanging down backward off the couch…and worse, lying on her side, propped on one elbow, with the opposite leg draped over her shoulder from behind….
I think Future Sheriff Monkeyblues would know better that I that other bird costumes are allowed at the initiation and installation ceremonies of the Fraternal Order of Sunny Fellows STAFF (Swinging to and fro forever) , since he is a member, but I had always heard it was strictly flamingos!Of course, there are orange flaming os…
I won’t go into the particulars as to why I have an Owl Costume by never the less I do have said costume
