    Yesterday’s strip showed Marigold taking liberties with how she moved the pieces. Also, the board made a magical change too.When you have a unicorn as a best friend, expect the unexpected! LOL

    There’s a tradition going back centuries of artists getting chessboards wrong. See, for example, http://www.tri.org.au/chess/vanMander.html. (But note that the title given on the is not the painter’s, and is quite certainly nonsense.)
