embracing the rocket. poor Linda, I would be terrified too!. He isn’t gone, so like he is fusing with it.,he must be some how compatible with the rocket’s energy.

Marx enjoys himself as well as others’ consternationHe can protect his friends, if he should have the inclinationAnd this bodes well for Holly and the others on the shipBut woe to any friends if his attention starts to slipAt least one part of Marx is coming through in recent actsHe’s one who seems immune to big anxiety attacksAnd he’s not had his powers for so long as to be boredHe’s still into the game. But I just wonder how it’s scored…=|====/ Level HeadVote for Endtown 2.0And for Doc Rat, tooThe Endtown ForumCharter member ofthe Consortium to get Aaron a Tablet

If it was anyone else, I’d be convinced in their fiery death at this moment (and likely Linda’s, too). But this is Marx we’re talking about. He’s fine. XD

I’ll admit, my money was on him swinging that cane like a golf club and “teeing off” on the missile! But you know, this works too…. ;-)

RickD, from yesterday:“Aside from the “advance orders”, has anyone been able to order a copy of the two Endtown books? I can’t find them anywhere.”Jarlidium Press is setting up a shop on Amazon, but there’s no stock available yet, meaning that JP hasn’t finished all of the final touches. With luck, they may be ready next week.

Marx plays with missiles for amusement. Can you blame him for not getting excited when Holly and Wally go flying into an airship prop? That’s like riding in a wagon that has training wheels on.

I thought he was going to tell the Dittos to form a decoy in the shape of a giant, mutant, killer rabbit. I was wrong.Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best.

By the way, I LOVE the qualities of the artwork in panel 4. I also love the clean, effective facial close-up in panel 2, combined with the incoming missile. What else can I say. Neathery’s writing and artwork are both sublime!

@Wabbit – “ON your avatar, what kind of animal is that? I thought of Bear and Anteater, but can’t figure it out or how big it is. It’s a cute critter!”Just saw this question from two days ago. You were right with Anteater! Southern Tamandua, the “medium-sized” anteater. This one happens to be named Ke$ha. No, I didn’t name her :-)

Marx has learned to love the bomb.Linda’s hugging the brain because she recognizes it’s a cooler head…Actually, I think it’s become a surrogate for her son. One way to deal with a situation where you need protection is to try to protect something else. Instead of feeling helpless, you feel you have some power to help others.

Now panel 4 has a familiar look, it’s not unlike a scene we’ve witnessed somewhere before…. Oh yeah, Feb 26, 2010. Seems like only yesterday….;-)

Marx is not the Doctor. He is not Willy Wonka. He is not Mr. Am. He is not Jack Harkness. (Neither is Jack, actually.) He is not Q or Trelane or Mudd or Barnum or the Joker or Mxyzptlk. Trying to compare him to any other trickster is to form preconceptions and expectations that will betray you.

I’m confused. (as if you didn’t know that already…) Is AM the missile’s father, or is the missile his mother? My dad used to regale us with a song about mixed up family relationships entitled “I’m My Own Grandpa”. In deference to the truely lyrically gifted among us I will not attempt to reproduce it here.

This is really strange. I bet it’s as hot as it is bright. He may not be human. I think maybe he is some kind of other being. He said he was a trickster, maybe he IS a mythological being that has the extraordinary powers he has shown. If he was a real human that would be a death wish. Linda may have a complete breakdown after this! If she survives.

“Here’s a link to Amazon for Volume 1 and 2 of Aaron’s books.”I was holding off announcing it until Jarlidium had uploaded stock numbers to Amazon. As it is, the books are marked as “temporarily out of stock”. You can order the books and they’ll be shipped when Jarlidium is ready. Or, if you have the books, as Surfstuff says, you can add your reviews yourself, or like the reviews already uploaded.

Ah true. They are the masters. We simply follow along waiting for the next installment like a herd of elephants at a peanut festival. Perhaps I should talk to my doctor about increasing/decreasing my meds again.
