Roy and Kathy beware – first all those Trekkie mistakes. Then the Jedi mind trick on Dana?

Lets face it. They could call in sick and still do more work than Ed.

I caught on way back in school. We had two middle schools in my town. Of course we had competing football teams. Any spirit of friendly competition was lost as we were conditioned to hate those people. They were our deadly, bitter enemies. There was even vandalism. I wasn’t a sports fan, so I didn’t really care.

But once we were all in high school, kids from both schools became friends, some even best friends. Many, conditioned not to see irony, forgot the rivalry, but I couldn’t help thinking: “Isn’t this what fuels wars? We hate them and want them dead because we don’t know them?”

And we all know the saying “Never argue about politics or religion.” Well you can add to that warning sports and music. Yes, music, the so-called international language that the 60’s taught us would bring the world together is just as divisive a topic as the rest.

In spite of all our technological advances, we’re still slow to learn.

It’s not about one being better than the other, they exist in different universes. You might as well mix DC and Marvel comics universes or put Hogwarts in Middle Earth.

Hog wars in Middle School in an alternate Universe? Now that sounds about right. :)

Nimoy admitted that he copied that gesture from a rabbi. What it originally meant, I don’t know.

I love the After Dark “flying toasters” screensaver on Ed’s screen – nice touch :D

DC? Marvel? Are you telling me, after decades of comic books – there’s more than one label/publisher/corporation selling? ..I still don’t really know for sure which one did Superman, Batman, Spiderman, Thor, X-Men and of course Archie and Richy Rich and gang. .What I want to know … why is everyone always picking on Ed? Sure, he looks like a slacker. But he’s a smart slacker. Napping where he can stretch out.
