I never understood the animosity toward vegans. I’m not one, not even a vegetarian, but I do know a few. They’re very nice people who make incredible dishes that I enjoy as much or more than “traditional” meals. And I have yet to have one of them sound self-righteous or condescending toward us meat-eaters. So what’s the deal?

I’ve hung around a few. Nasty people. Smell like cabbage.

I think the biggest argument against cannibalism is that you never know where that person has been or what he has been eating.

Reminds me of a crack Arsenio Hall made not long after the film “Alive” was released in 1993: “I had a bit part in the film. I was the dark meat.”

Seems reasonable. The vegan wouldn’t be able to eat the rations anyway.

wiser to leave the vegan – then more meat to the rest – but how long would he stay a vegan??
