A popular pro wrestler, as Thunderchild probably still is, could help with fund-raising in any number of ways not involving ring action directly. But I sense some kind of scam in Patty Cure’s mercenary little mind.That nice little girl is still there with those yummy-looking cookies….

Hmmm… Could her offer actually be legit?

Maybe Patty Cure has plans for the box office proceeds.

Good morning all!Call me a geezer, but Patty Cure’s glasses constantly remind me of the ill-conceived Batwoman character that Bob Kane introduced in the 50s.

@TarryLate, I know, but speaking of wrestling + anime, Kinnikuman is pretty great if you know where to look.I’m not the biggest anime fan, but we all grew up with the MUSCLE Men toys; we’d always think up our own backstories for the different (nameless) figures, so it’s cool to finally see where all that nonsense came from. It all makes sense now (and, like I said, pretty great anime too, so far).

Of courst Patty’s scheme is going to be illegal. And the Mole, although he’s turned over a new leaf, is going to be sucked into it.

I wonder: does anybody else see a resemblance between the Mole, and the Fantastic Four villain Moleman?
