Horseshoes and hand-grenades only, Mitt. Sorry. In presidential politics a miss is as good as a mile. We now return to our regularly scheduled platitudes.

Getting the most votes (whether popular or electoral) is only part of it – the next is to make sure each vote is counted – and that the Supreme Court doesn’t overrule those votes.

“Yes, NBC is calling this a 48% 48% tie”Tigger, what happened to the other 4%? Voting is different from takking a poll.

Nate Silver has Obama with a 2.6% lead in the vote. Statistically giving Obama 91.6% chance of winning the election. It’s only a little over 2%, but it equates to electoral college vote of 314.6- 223.4. It’s all over but the cheating so watch carefully at the polls today, especially if you’re in a swing state. I plan to wake up with Barack Obama as President tomorrow. A bad day for desperate trolls Tigger and Ima, etc.

Popular vote only gets you one that most of the country doesn’t want. Popular vote with instant runoff (vote first, second, etc. choice, the least is dropped and alternates added, until a majority is reached) at least gets you someone the majority can at least stand. As it is now, “It won’t mean a thing if your state cannot swing”, and even there it is non-binding. Jill Stein and the Green Party support IRV, so, since your vote for president is meaningless, vote Green and build a real democracy – the rule of all the people. And be sure and vote for the rest of the offices where your vote really counts.

Does anyone know why Tigger continuously and repeatedly reminds everyone of the vote in Tennessee from 12 years ago?

Well then I guess that’s it, huh? We can try again in 2016 I suppose. Although, it didn’t hold up in 2004 for Bush.

With surveys and polls usually with a +/- 5% accuracy rate, there’s no telling who’s won until the votes are all counted, re-counted, re- re- counted and all the lawsuits settled as nobody wants to admit defeat.

I think Obama will pull it in. I think how he handled the Hurricane out east gave him the push in the media he needed to win. But, I could be wrong. We shall see. Eitherway..this election brought out the WORST in everyone.

When I arrived at the polling place just before noon, I walked right in. But I had to wait because two people had asked for mail-in ballots and left them at home. While I was voting, two more people did the same thing, generating lots of paperwork,So 4 ouy of a dozen voters had to file provisional ballots! That is why I am going to predict that FL won’t decide tonight.

I wondered why the Ohio Republican HQ closed up shop very quickly after it was reported that MSNBC of all people had called Ohio for Obama. Found out later Fox had called it about the same time!
