Funny, Underwear doesn’t turn green for me until AFTER I wash it……Thats why the wife doesn’t let me near the washer anymore.

Colours and whites should be washed seperately, Doctor. And getting it wrong once is no excuse for ducking out on chores. Hop to it!!

Maybe Doc is using the “feigned incompetence” strategy. If you’re so bad at doing something your spouse won’t let you do it, then you’ve gotten out of doing it!

I taught my kids on how to wash when they were younger. My daughter had a friend who at a much younger age started helping around the house mostly her stuff and making her own lunch.I always wash whitesseparatelyy can use Clorox.

Everything in my regular rotation is black, so I never have to worry about sorting my laundry…

Laundry – a necessary chore that I hate doing! Good thing it only needs to be done once or twice a week!

I had surgery last spring on my knee. My boys, ages 5, 7, 9 all learned to do their own laundry and continue to do so now that I’m walking again. (5yo needs help, of course). The clothes don’t get sorted, and everything gets washed on “cold” or “warm” – but we’ve never had an issue with pink underwear – and their school uniforms are red polos.BEST thing that we ever did. LOVE having self-sufficient children!!

They have a large enough family they should be throwing the appropriate items in the correct basket so no sorting before laundry.

And Holly you can iron your own clothes.
