Pig: Now that you have this big wall around your property, aren't you worried you could lose they key to the gate? Zebra: No. I have a spare that I keep in a safe place. Pig: Safe enough that you don't think the crocs can get to it? Zebra: Yep. Croc: Reech for it, Bob. Croc: You reech for it, Burt.

Arrgh! I was sure I’d get the first comment this time! Now, to read the strip…Ha! That’s a good one. It’s funny because the crocs could get killed again. But the crocs could pay Rat to sneak the key away, if the crocs were smart enough to come up with that kind of plan.

LGD can usually manage to pull an RPG out of his pocket at need.

It’s not yet Veterans Day in Washington, but it will be in a few hours. Honor the troops, whether or not you agree with the reasons they get sent out. Any war-related situation is a terrible ordeal to go through. Show the love and understanding that you would want to be shown. Ϯ

Burt and Bob are doomed for sure—first, by their very names, and second, by Li’l Guard Duck. LGD has a tendency to shoot first and ask questions after (strictly rhetorical questions, since there is usually no one else left around to answer…).

Hey! They’ve gotten smart enough to hesitate from taking it from Guard Duck!

They might as well take a vest off a suicide bomber, because that’s what these two “brains surgeons” are about to achieve!

Ahhh Good old Guard Duck — there to save the day. But can you TRUST guard duck? Well USUALLY you can, but he’s been known to have accidents with plastic explosives….
LLABDDO over 12 years ago
As A Veteran, I say thank you.
madvirgo over 12 years ago
I agree! I’m glad that most people are understanding this . I wasn’t keen about Iraq, and understood Afghanistan; my brother-in-law was in both this conflict and ’91 Gulf conflict. I respect what our vets have to do, even if they themselves may have issues with the mission. Thank you, vets!

This is a space for comments on PBS, not for pontificating, regardless of the good sentiment.

That was LGD’s one true love. She was a wild duck who left him to take the job as the AFLAC duck. So tragic.
