Oh, everybody… More to the point, who’s blowing smoke up whose, um, skirt?

Actually, I could imagine R. Lee Ermey from “Mail Call” doing a great job, especially shouting at people when they go the wrong direction.

John Cleese has voiced GPS. But it’s too late to get Majel Barrett.

Now if John Cleese did a GPS doing the sargent’s voice from the self defense sketch, that’d be one I’d buy.

I have to admit this is a product that would actually sell very well. I hope Trudeau has gotten a patent on it before someone takes this to the next level

You can’t patent an idea, only a mechanism for realizing an idea.

Food for thought for celebrity GPS voices:

Bill O’ Reilly (“Take the next right, you pinhead!”) Arnold Schwarznegar (“Ju missed da turn! You’ll be back!”) Clint Eastwood (“What’s it going to be, punk… right or left?”) Barack Obama (“Hope you Change lanes soon”) Barney Frank (“I won’t take responsibility for it, but take the next left”)

Or, for the mothers who’re driving, Jimmy Cagney for when they reach their destination. “Made it, Ma! Top of the world!”

For some A-listers, they’re going to have to provide pronunciation coaches so they read the script properly.

For my money, I’d like a Jim Carey or a Jack Black going nuclear when my GPS has to “recalculate.”

I used to do this with wav files on my computers until it got boring, or no one could figure out what soundbites I had chosen. YAWN……

One thought: If you did do the GPS voiceovers, would you still be an A-lister?

Can you imagine Judge Judy going off, if you start speeding? I would deliberately crash into a building.
