I went with a cousin to get her refitted after a reduction surgery, the scars still somewhat fresh. I was standing outside the fitting room and heard “HOLY CRAP! Are you ok?” “Please just measure me?” “Yes but but but can I ask what happened?” “I went from a FF down to whatever you say I am now, can we get this part over so I can find something to hold these” Knowing my cousin, she had to have grabbed them. Cousin kept her cool but that sales lady, well, my cousin asked for the manager on our way out and told me she didn’t want to talk about it afterwards.
Some saleswomen are totally clueless. Only once have I seen a teenage girl look like a boy. They played basketball against my daughters team. Even my daughter’s team wasn’t sure about their gender and we were up close. I don’t think she would like like a boy in reality.

OK, Mom – this is the wrong shop to be in. With someone that clueless you’ll never get a good fit.

The bra fitter certainly seems to be fitted properly.

Androgyny? No.Just no distinctions yet. Not traits of both sexes (genders), just nothing quite there yet.Don’t worry. Teena’s mom knows best.

Perhaps the saleslady was not mistaking Teena for a boy, just didn’t think she was quite old enough for a fitting?
