kab2rb: Thank you I’m glad you enjoy my stories. I only have my granddaughter who’ll be 3 on New Year’s Day. RayC: I was appreciated at that job but the travel time got to me after awhile. I was glad when I got a a call from a company I had applied to several years before telling me they now had a job open in my field of expertise and did I want it. It was ten minutes away so I jumped at the opportunity. It was a smaller company and they treated me like family. I missed all the people I worked with for several years though and I learned an awful lot there and I missed the fast pace of the days. Everyone have a wonderful Christmas! It’s time for Santa to gobble up the cookies and milk, feed the reindeer, and fill the stockings…and to all a goodnight!

I keep thinking Hobbes ought to meet Monsieur Bunny. What a team they’d make!

I just love it when cats [of which a tiger is a big one] squeeze through impossibly tight places that no other creature can. It’s like they have the ability to purposely make themselves paper thin and then flow like water.

… 21st. to comment and from what I read the first to ask; maybe I have been living under a rock or something but I have no idea what (MMF) stands for! Can anyone help me?

It means that Calvin’s squeezing under the chair and getting the air squeezed out of his lungs. Hence, the sound he makes: mmf…

Same with ooch: it probably means he’s getting scratched by a spring or pinched by a wooden slat.

@Paul M. : I think MMF is just an expression… like “humpf”.. etc……

Congratulations LX013 on the new granddaughter. When your children are born you think nothing can be any more precious, then a grandchild comes along.

But, he’s out of bounds. The play is ended, and the ball should be spotted where Hobbes left the playing field.

I see that they haven’t synchronized the reruns with the seasons…where are the snow goons, Calvin getting neurotic about being bad vis a vis Santa, the snowball fights with Suzie, etc.?
