I just have less time to be involved with comments these days, unless I just have to, like when Connie is acting the fool, or Elly is screaming nonstop for months on end, which strangely hasn’t happened in a long, long time.    He loves his constituents because they are lifelong idiots who just keep voting in the same self appointed elitists. It’s easier than learning who or what they are voting for, always showing how the left so hates to learn anything.

   I HATE vacations where every minute is planned. That’s not a vacation. Going someplace and deciding to hit the amusement parks, and some other fun things is one thing, but don’t go scheduling my days and nights, or waking me up to get there early. We’ll get there when we get there. It’ll still be open.

   Oh, I feel perfectly equal to men, even much better off than them. I don’t feel, however that I need to do their work in addition to my own.

   Sorry you always feel so inferior. I wasn’t raised that way. In fact I never thought about not being able to do something because I am a woman, but I wasn’t raised to be a doormat either. Let men do the man work (their fair share, or they end up doing nothing). That isn’t a stereotype. God created men and women physically different for a reason. I always tended to meet men who didn’t know how to do anything, so I have my reasons for my opinions, and they have nothing to do with your obsession with 1960’s feminism, which in my opinion did women NO favors. It dumped the men’s work on us as well as our own, and told us to accept it in the name of “equality”, by a bunch of hypocrites who threw you to the wind after their 15 minutes of bra burning fame was up.

    Calvin really isn’t as “bad” as some commenters usually make him out to be. They need to think back to their childhoods and remember all of the imaginative playing they did, and how some of it turned out. That’s all he does. He isn’t the least bit malicious.

    The problem with these commenters is that they come here blabbing off in the role of snarky disciplinarians instead of in the mindset of a child, which is the way you are supposed to read Calvin. I’m glad to see that today, most of those people didn’t show up yet.

    Don’t worry Calvin, Santa always seems to come through for you (and Hobbes), despite what people who don’t get the comic strip think.
