They’re doing that just to annoy Charles.

Not shown is the pot of mud in which Charles’s likeness’s stick is stuck.

As regards the Basset Family, one need only glimpse Morticia Basset {the irrepressible Cleo Clifford?} in her trademark purplie eye shadow to see why Gomez is so hopelessly smitten.

And ……………… am I mistaken ……………………… or is that …………………………………… Fenton as the butler, Lurch?

No, I guess not Fenton, which is not to say that Fenton couldn’t pull it off. He certainly has the gravitas and dignity required for the role.

Charles, good of you not to spoil this convivial gathering by making a 3-D appearance. You are much more tolerable as a cutout and a lurker.

Heavens, what is that complex sketch framed on the wall? A magnified view of Charles’ face? Or is it a window showing the mouse borrows around the deck framing? IMWTK

As for Stel’s poster, well of course Cleo has the role of Morticia. With her purply eyeshadow, it is no wonder Gomez is crazy about her (and I mean crazy). The rest of the cast is very able – well, Thing is a bit differently abled, but he does his part. Nighthawks, this cries out for animation!

    Cousin Itt is conspicuously absent.

    I second the animation cry.

Charles must be every bit the cardboard character.

Hi! I see that some of you are already here on the porch….

Go on in…. Marcia says it’s a buffet and there’s plenty for everybody….

and if you don’t find a seat at that table, there’s another set up next to it….

Everyone is already happily discussing We’re here to post our comments on

the Sept 20th  2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”

They all read it every day on Sherpa….

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

    and so can YOU!

Please… let’s everybody be sure to say “Where is Charles?” or “Is Charles OK?”

It’s the least we can do, since we’re visiting his house. Thanks.

Everybody loves “The Basset Family”, and has a favorite character or two.

Cleo does look lovely….. she even agreed to lose some weight for that gown…

hard for a dog who thinks more is less, and less is inadequate.

Some people have complained cos they think Pugsley should have been played by a real pug…. but I think the young basset actor did a fine job.

After all, it’s the Basset family. How could he be a different breed?

Looks like October is shining down on us early this year. All the movie channels are starting to promote their Halloween fare. The costume department is busy whipping up period piece duds, and the make up department is laying in a supply of purplie eye shadow.

There was always a “family” feud in our house between the Adams and the Munsters. Great poster today, Stel. Loved seeing “foot”.

Yes, Stel, great poster! I, too, enjoyed “foot” or is that “paw”. These ‘relatives’ are definitely weird.

I tried not to scream when I saw them. I just wonder, what would they dress up like on Halloween?

Where’s that bitch who played Uncle Fester’s gold digging black widow in Addam’s Family Values? You know, she’s that guy’s sister. That guy who’s in a lot of movies and usually talks fast.

Great. Now I have an earworm (that includes click, click).

The Broadway version came though a few years ago. Pretty funny to hear an entire audience singing and clicking along.
