This is so true, but a father is important as well something that is sadly lacking these days. So often in cities like Chicago when a gang banger killed, you find this 20 year old has already had numerous children by several different ladies. It is the destruction of the once strong black family we have President Johnson and his great society to thank this for. I remember when the Great Society was being pushed out in on Radio and TV. If you can find the old TV ads for it I do not recall any ad’s showing the poverty of inner-city blacks. Because there was very little of it. What they showed was Appalachian mountain folk in the clapboard shacks, with a grandmother smoking a pipe which if you look into it was a complete misrepresentation of their chosen lifestyle.

The 2- parent household is lacking really bad into today world.
