Just wait until the HOA decides they’re “ugly”!

They’re a roof for his roof.

Down here there are that many they overload the power systems at times and have to be isolated.

Take the good things where you find ‘em. They don’t show up very often.

I was approached by a HOA representative (who was also a local realtor) about some ‘minor irregularities’. I replied, “You sold me the house. Are you saying you knowingly failed to disclose information on the condition of the property?” I never heard from him again. Apparently I did learn something from that half credit course of intro to law that I mostly slept through.

I had the complete opposite experience. Perfectly good roof, until the solar people installed their equipment. I no longer have solar.

A good idea until we go all electric and the Grid blows up.

They are not only watertight, they are sturdier than the traditional American tarpaper roofs. And meanwhile not even more expensive. And produce the most electricity, when your AC and fridge is running highest.
