It is, but fools are always trying to revive it, don’t believe me, look at that guy from West Point. Spencer Rapone, no a two bit professor trying to teach the same stuff. Please if you can find his bio he teaches Modern Arab History, what is that. There is no new twist on history.
If after the Bay of Pigs, JFK had sat down with Castro and recognized, remove sanctions resumed trade likely Castro would not have been forced to be totally dominated by the Soviet Union and would be a prosperous trading partner with the US. Instead JFK continued covert activities to assassinate, overthrow Castro which led to the Cuban Missile CrisesRemember for 60+ years we supported corrupt dictators like Batista who let American corporations exploit the Cuban people and keep them in poverty.
One thing I know having lived with Cubans in Southern Florida is there are a lot of Cuban Businessmen who would open companies in Cuba if the Communist government went away. Some socialist “A” holes say they just want to take advantage of cheap local labor. If you have had any business training at all you realize cheap labor is a relative thing. We are not talking about the slave labor in China. The pay and working conditions would be much better than what the average Cuban sees today. The average is about $15.38 per month (2023) this according to Best of Cuba Travel. This website is looking at Cuba as a vacation destination The US Dollar goes a long way in Cuba. The problem in Cuba the tourist that wants to see the country has a difficult time doing it because of the poor travel infrastructure. You can see a Cuban Businessman in Southern Florida used to a Florida minimum wage of $12 per hour could pay $300 USD a month and the Cuban workers would be in Hog heaven.
And every Republican believes in his heart that the only reason American capitalism has not succeeded is because we haven’t had the right people in charge.
@Ramireztoons – regardless of the political “structure” it is AUTHORITARIANISM that creates destruction. I note you have joined our concern about Trump’s style of “leadership”.

unfortunately Fidel’s mate Vlad has exported the disease to the USA where the Repugnants now worship him as Saint Vlad the Putin.

I see a lot of projection here by Democrats laughably trying to put the Communist label on the GOP. Let’s show how ridiculous that is.
The Communist Party of America consistently tells their members to vote Democrat.
There are sitting Democrat congress critters who are card carrying members of the Socialist Party of America. No Republicans there.
While Communist Bernie Sanders claims to be Independent he consistently votes with Democrats.
Many Democrat policies and values embrace the three sides of the Marxist coin: Head – Communism, Tail – Socialism and the Edge being Fascism.

The notion that communism doesn’t work is hardly revolutionary. (And yes, I did that….)
