One thing I know having lived with Cubans in Southern Florida is there are a lot of Cuban Businessmen who would open companies in Cuba if the Communist government went away. Some socialist “A” holes say they just want to take advantage of cheap local labor. If you have had any business training at all you realize cheap labor is a relative thing. We are not talking about the slave labor in China. The pay and working conditions would be much better than what the average Cuban sees today. The average is about $15.38 per month (2023) this according to Best of Cuba Travel. This website is looking at Cuba as a vacation destination The US Dollar goes a long way in Cuba. The problem in Cuba the tourist that wants to see the country has a difficult time doing it because of the poor travel infrastructure. You can see a Cuban Businessman in Southern Florida used to a Florida minimum wage of $12 per hour could pay $300 USD a month and the Cuban workers would be in Hog heaven.

Let’s hope MAGA ends up in the same place.
