I went to a computer store once and couldn’t believe the rubbish the customer service guy was telling a couple that wanted to buy a laptop for their son. I’ve never heard so much twaddle in all my life. After he’d gone I just had to tell them what he’d said wrong, why it was wrong and what he should have said. Hopefully they listened.
I had a job as a companion for an elderly woman. I did much more than was required. She refused to get wifi saying she never used it, no matter how badly I needed it. I even arranged for a video chat for her and her grandson’s family in Dubai on my laptop before her former companion cancelled the wifi which was in her name. No one else in the family thought to make sure grandma had wifi though they expected her to just have it.

She might have thought it was a kitty cat.
