The thing that affects the economy the most is people’s attitude.
If people would stop saying how bad the economy feels and actually talk about the positive signs that are occurring, then people would have a better outlook, and be more willing to spend money; thereby increasing the physical economy. The problem is that there is a political party out there that does not want you to know the truth and is willing to do everything that they can to make people feel bad about the economy so that they can hopefully get voted into office.
No one fails to recognize that some are still in dire straits; many fail to recognize ANY indication of improvement.
If this is the most horrible thing that Americans have had to face? Why do so many continue to not recognize that the rest of the advanced world lags behind our recovery?
Old Slo Joe (while campaigning in the Rust Belt): “We have among the lowest inflation rates of any country in America!”
Uh, which country would that be, Joe? Even if you intended to specify North and/or South America (doubtful), none of those countries have consumer prices that rose 0.4% in one month, working out to yearly inflation rising at 3.2%. None have overall prices up 18.6%, as they are under you, Joe. And none have typical voters who say what this female Black voter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin just said:
“I am voting for Trump because he did a lot for us whereas Biden did more for immigrants.”

Help from the Republican controlled House would help a great deal. Will TFG allow it to happen?

Biden lost his lucky charm and his marbles long ago. He’s not wearing green. Pinch him and see if he’s still alive.

Yeah, record low unemployment, a skyrocketing stock market, ambitious infrastructure improvements and reduced inflation are just SOOO boring.

It’s a shame that MAGAs are either devoid of any knowledge of economics or just dumb as bricks
