A fine example of ‘organized chaos’.

The advantage of sense of smell over eyesight. He can find the “good bits”, even if buried.

I had a roommate whose dog used to scatter the trash if it was left alone during the day, and my roommate would give the dog a shower as punishment (and it also got the dog clean.) One time we got back from somewhere, the trash was scattered all around the house, and the dog was lying on the shower floor, thumping its tail. A real-life example of “Just don’t throw me in that briar patch.”

It reminds me of an old W. C. Fields bit with a roll top desk. It was in “Man on the Flying Trapeze”. The desk appeared to be a complete mess, but he knew where everything was. I used to call it “inconspicuous organization” and used it often myself.

My brother and his garage, a friend of his decided to rearrange his tools (two 72 inch Snap On tool boxes with 18 drawers each) and he was not happy.
