His lenders had no problem with his loan application. Testified that all was OK with them. He paid the loan. No one was injured. How can you convict someone where there is not a victim? Trump will win on appeal and a politically biased judge and prosecutor will be exposed for what they are, anti-Trumpers. Another example of our corrupt judicial system that is more politics than based in the law,

So, why does it matter if you OVERestimate the value of a property? Then you have to pay the taxes on it. . .

Loans were issued, loans were paid back. Where’s the crime? Why did the banks do NO due diligence if there was fraud? These are facts.

…and Beau died while driving that 18 wheeler on his way to stack the boxes of illegally obtained classified documents under the lifeguard stand behind the school where Cornpop got that knuckle sandwich right before taking a shower with his underaged daughter or was that the married babysitter whose marriage I ruined while I try and look cool with a smarmy capped teeth smile and Top Gun pilot with Ray-Bans and tripping up the steps or on a stage or falling off my bike or getting 81 million votes…

In business, your ability to acquire loans and the interest you pay are all dependent on the value of the assets you put up. I realize most people here do not have a business background or haven’t worked in the industry, so they cannot comprehend the level of the crimes Trump has been found guilty of. In addition, most people here don’t have assets more than their house, which, on average, costs $300,000 in the U.S.; the overvaluation the average citizen can accomplish is limited in scale.

However, it is fraud when you or your company overvalue your assets. And the level of overvaluation Trump perpetrated runs into millions and millions of dollars. Simply put, the level of fraud Trump engaged in is at a level that the readers here have no comprehension of. I think it is comical that so many people are willing to forgive Trump for crimes that they would be prosecuted for.

No, it’s a political witch hunt because he was prosecuted for saying his stuff was worth more in order to get a good loan… which he fully paid back — thus essentially being prosecuted for harming….uh… no one.

It appears that the bank either didn’t do due diligence in determining the value of the collateral or chose to go along with Trump in falsifying their value. Either way, if this is standard operating procedure in New York City real estate, which seems to be the case, it would go a long way to explaining why a room the size of my walk in closet rents for $1000 a month. The victims of Bank fraud are all of the other customers who aren’t getting sweet heart deals. Even if they aren’t directly customers of the bank, the rent they pay is the result of the owner of that closet not getting lower rates because that advantage has already been used up by Trump.

This was actually the Ramirez cartoon from yesterday. Today’s is highly critical of Biden. So, naturally, GoComics posted yesterday’s cartoon and portrayed it as today’s.

If you’re a real estate developer, why would you even consider doing business in New York State where you can become the target of a DA who gained that office by pledging to prospective voters that she would spend every day trying to “get” you? And an openly partisan political hack of a judge who uses ruinous devices that he knows will never possibly stand any sort of judicial review? Why would you operate there when more business-friendly states like Florida, Texas, North Dakota, and West Virginia would welcome your business with open arms? Why?

Not to mention that no trucker alive is going to deliver as much as a roll of toilet paper to you. You’d better start hording those papyrus leaves now. Or in a pinch, maybe you could use your Harvard diploma.

‘Worst president in history, Marge’: MTG’s President’s Day wishes to Trump draw blowback

On the day after Fox News infuriated viewers by reporting that Donald Trump ranked dead last among presidents living or dead according to the Presidential Greatness Project, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) leapt into the fray by wishing the embattled ex-president a “Happy Presidents’ Day.”

“Celebrating criminals is soooo Margie Greene,” contributed zezzledog, with @DougMount adding, “He’s not my favorite president, but I don’t know how you do things over in Russia.”

Posting a video clip of former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr talking about MTG’s favorite president, South Dakotans for Political Integrity pointed out, “Here is Trump’s handpicked AG Bill Barr, who oversaw all fraud investigations, TESTIFYING UNDER OATH that Trump’s fraud claims were ‘BS.’ Every lawyer & election expert in the WH, as well as state officials, told Trump he LOST, but he LIED anyway.”

MTG has a lot of time, she is on vacation leaving the border open and the budget hanging as a gift to Putin and Trump.
