Things that make big, strong, macho Trumpublican cult worshippers go unhinged:
• Taylor Swift
• Football players with opinions
• Disney
• Barbie
• Target
• Bud Light
• Vaccinations
• Drag Queens
• Mr Potato Head
• Dr Seuss
Decisions, decisions — Left Coast San Francisco or Taylor Swift?
Football is RUINED for those who HATE EVERYBODY!
And I’m sure I’ve missed a few.
Taylor Swift says “BOO!” and twenty million Trumpublican cult worshippers poop in their pants. And in their usual PROJECTION, they call PROgressives “snowflakes.” Well, enough snowflakes working together form a blizzard, and WINTER IS COMING.
Football players can have their opinions, but when they disrespect the flag which has draped many of my relatives coffins and which one day will drape mine, I exercise my opinions and stop supporting the NFL.
Disney is failing so badly it cannot be just conservatives who have turned away.
My sister had Barbie dolls. That is the extent of my knowledge on that.
No Targets in my area.
I don’t drink lite beer and I don’t eat tofu steaks.
Vaccinations? Had a ton of them, but none of the others had a bad habit of killing the vaccinated.
Drag queen’s are sometimes amusing but do not belong in public schools.
I have no idea about Mr Potatohead’s controversy and I read Dr Suess to my children at bedtime when they were young.
Why are you so worried? Afraid the big, bad, Trump will win and further erode the deep state?
“If you don’t like the culture, don’t participate in it.” I think I first heard of that statement in “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom. Alternatively, if you don’t like abortions, don’t have one, and so on.
Last night, I got a call from an old friend I hadn’t seen in several years. Not far into the call, in a complete change of subject, she tore into Biden with many of the beliefs Jack depicts above, and more! When I was able to speak, I simply asked her “Where do you get this information from?” She then ripped into me, “Oh, your’re one of those Liberals?”, and hung up on me!
disney’s shares have been trading between $109 and $97 for the year. the company must be doing something terribly wrong… ☺
this is a constant among our rightwing pals. they have no idea what they’re talking about, but they’re willing to talk about what they don’t know until the cows come home…
There’s 2 people who make regular, midnight, maybe even before the cartoons post, posts, DDWiz and Fernduhnutcase. How do you write tomes and post them right when the cartoons post? How do you git all the way to Ohman, right when the cartoons posts? If there were possible conspiracies to sniff around, here are two.
It really doesn’t matter if Swift actually endorses or not. The MAGAt media has already declared her an enemy. Along with that, they have declared the entire NFL as a plot to let the Chiefs win the Super Bowl to give her a lot of attention so she can endorse, since it’s obvious that she isn’t getting enough attention already. And, in six months they will remember when this happened, even if she never actually does it.
When you offer no real solutions to real problems Americans face (top of the list: healthcare) you’re left with fear. The MAGA crowd excels at that. Fear works. For some. Others choose to look at problems with a goal of solving them. Ohman’s list and others added by commenters are the proof that MAGA cares not one iota about reality.
From Scott Ostler’s column in today’s San Francisco Chronicle:
“By the way, don’t believe every crazy thing you hear. There may be a rumor that the Democrats will run Swift as their presidential candidate. Are you kidding? A president who is a preening pop celebrity who spends hours a day on makeup and hair, whose only qualification for office is the power to draw crowds of adoring, hypnotized followers. Let’s not get sucked into that kind of silliness.”
From Jack Ohman’s cartoon in today’s San Francisco Chronicle (in case it’s never posted here):
San Francisco Cognitive Dissonance…: (Man in sports bar wearing 49ers jacket) “How can I root against Taylor Swift when she annoys MAGA?”
GOP lawmaker who flashed gun at students says their fear of firearms is the problem
In the wake of outrage over flashing his gun to a group of high school students, Indiana GOP Rep. Jim Lucas is facing growing calls for him to issue an apology. But according to Lucas, the problem is with the students, The Statehouse File reported.
Republican bullies act like they have zero empathy.
Nothing more satisfying than an editorial cartoon executed so perfectly that it resonates with personal experiences in trying to maintain a poker face in the face of enraged, inane rationalizations.

The difference between right wing conspiracy theories and their reality is about 6 months.

I’m not a Ten year old girl. Wasn’t a fan of Taylor. Until now.
If you see an old geezer, wearing a hot pink Taylor Swift sweatshirt, say “Hello Redd”.
If Ms. Swift is taking over the world, and she is, I wanna be on her good side.
