I have tool outlines like that and my wife still can’t figure out how to hang the tools correctly.

Only really useful in a shop class situation. My shop has too many tools to give them their own spot on a pegboard.

Maybe it’s tar, since the paint was white.

One of the advantages of pegboards is that you can rearrange their contents fairly easily. Painting outlines on them undercuts that flexibility.

One of every tool? Cripes I’ve got 7 hammers alone…screwdrivers too many to bother counting. All conveniently placed in their drawers.

I think I would need about a square mile of pegboard to hang all my hand tools.

They do this in Vo-Tech schools, so the teacher can see, at a glance , if anything’s not back where it should be. Maybe it works well in some industrial situations, but, at home?

Monty must have a shelf, with tweezers, for splinters, and an assortment of band-aids and first aid cream.

Do the outline in pencil, and then take the brush off and go over the pencil with paint. Simple.

It’s like cutting open a pair of new scissors in plastic packaging.

Throw the paint brush away. No need to hang it up.

Double-check the proud adjustable wrench outline. One side even hangs lower than the other.

I remember a scene in Cheech and Chong’s Next Movie where the neighbor had outlines like this for the things hanging from pegboard in his garage.
