It’s kinda funny. Matthew, which is oft considered the most consistent of the biblical gospels doesn’t say this took place in a manger but rather just in their home.

For those who are intolerant of the homeless, I just thought you should know, Jesus was homeless (Manger), Mohammad was homeless (the Cave of Revelation), Buddha was homeless (the Bodhi Tree). It is possible that the Universe is trying to tell us something?

The one misstatement in an otherwise totally true book. Go figure.

That’s because the Magi did not come until later. After Herod was warned! Matthew calls Jesus a young child, not a baby. That’s why Herod killed all the children two years old and under.

Some people seem to forget that Jesus was born a Jew and die a Jew. He was never a Christian. Because of the Hebrew culture of the time, Jesus would have married and had children by the time he set off in to the wilderness.
