Rancid in the spirit of the season? For himself, maybe.

Yeah, Rancid is the 21st century embodiment of Scrooge. But, somehow, I don’t think he is going to have an epiphany.

I doubt Rancid has a “nice” list. He’d be incapable of thinking anyone else is nice.

I had no doubt of that.

His name sure fits him.

You’d think that Rancid would put himself first.

His boy? After reading this strip for months I had no idea that the Chief was Brutus’ father. I had always thought Veeblefester was just the boss at work. Kinda makes sense though why Brutus never really gets fired.

Then that makes Veeblefester and Uncle Ted brothers? They do wear the same looking prescription eyeglasses.

He’s not naughty…just a dumba$$….no harm no foul

I was wondering which list would Brutus be on with Bossman. And for Bossy to wear a Santa hat, he’d have to be the Grinch.

At least the Grinch has a heart to grow three sizes larger. I’m more or less convinced Veeblefester does not have that particular organ.

Veeblefester is the CEO of humbuggery in this organization.

Rancid Claus…

Don’t you just feel the love around Brutus’ work environment? Like being on death row waiting for your turn with the guillotine.

No one would ever accuse him of making a “NICE” list as he has no concept of what nice is. Also his judgement of “naughty” is also very tainted as he would be the poster boy for NAUGHTY himself. His list would be closer to an enemies list as to enemies of good. He makes the before picture of the Grinch loos pretty good.A lot of coal will be bought by him……

Come on, Boss, Brutus works so hard for you – you should be putting him at the top of your good list.

He called him “my boy”….and then zings him! What a Scrooge!

Rancid is the one who deserves coal in his stocking – two lumps.

By comparison to Rancid, everybody should be on the nice list.

Of Christmas personages, I think most of us would agree Rancid’s soul mate is Ebenezer Scrooge, not Santa.

I wonder what he will do with the list? He’s not going to give out bonuses or gifts. I can’t even imagine faint praise.

Is it just me, or is there something unnatural about Veebs wearing a Santa hat?

Has this guy ever met Brutus’ mother-in-law? They would be perfect for each other!
