The way I see it, they’d be doing Connie a favor as much as anything else – she certainly can’t keep all the pups, even with that nice set-up she has downstairs for the dogs.
Giving a live animal as a Christmas gift is almost never a good idea. Yes, I’ve read ahead and I know it works out for the Pattersons, but for the most part it does not. There are an awful lot of Christmas puppies that end up in a shelter because Mom & Dad did not think through what owning and training a puppy entails. Little 3 year old Johnny just isn’t capable of caring for a dog.
Thanks I kinda know the fate of Farly, don’t know how the Puppy played into it. Now I understand why people are saying they don’t want to read it again
Just so you know, I deleted my post that so many people were commenting in because too many of them were revealing the events that are to come. Please do not spoil the story for newcomers. Thank you.

If that bee-yotch wanted to avoid complication, why didn’t she abort her third pregnancy? Or is there no “Roe v. Wade” in Canada?

Complication is usually low on the list of concerns about getting [another] pet. That’s comic strips for ya.

I may not read it either. I have been through it for real. Too painful

NO ONE wants to go there. Too traumatic last time. I will skip this strip as well once it comes around again, as will most readers.

Spoiler alert: He turned out tp be a pretty good dog. Not in Farley’s league, but still a pretty good dog.

April, like most children, will take the path of least resistance… i.e. Dad.

Or it could be like the movie Mars Attacks!, where there is now an April-headed Farley and a Farley-headed April! :0

I think April should get the puppy and also get a kitten.

So, I wonder what April’s going to name the puppy?
