I wonder, did any of the 100s of people in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Somalia, etc. who were killed by drone strikes during the Trump years remark, “whew, at least Americans aren’t at war with us” with their dying breath?
Carter, Ford and Trump are the only modern presidents (from Eisenhower to Biden) who did not start or escalate existing foreign conflicts with U.S. military involvement.
Joe Biden was in Arizona a few weeks back only to avoid his border crisis, and he certainly isn’t going to get involved with the wars that he has caused.
What wars are U.S. soldiers fighting? I know that 60 some odd soldiers died in Afghanistan alone during the Trump years but Joe got our soldiers out of there years ago.
Biden reminds me of Barney Fife. Headline – US troops in Middle East attacked 14 times, injuring 24 people over the last week: Pentagon. Remember when a bully would pick on a weakling in school. The U.S. is now the Barney Fife weakling and Iran (who we just granted access to their $6 billion dollars) is the bully. What happened to us? We used to be respected and feared by our enemies. Not anymore. We were attacked 14 times in a week!!!
PRESS ROOM, REPORTER TODAY: The Pentagon is deploying two carrier strike groups, eleven Burke-class destroyers, a number of Ticonderoga-class cruisers, amphibious assault ships, THAAD and Patriot missile defense systems, multiple squadrons of fighter jets, strategic bombers, and undisclosed assets to the Middle East.
The Pentagon expects Iranian proxies to continue to target U.S. troops in the region and has already stated that they will respond “decisively.”
What’s the probability that this escalates into a war between the United States and Iran?
PENTAGON: “Between October 17th and the 24th, U.S. and coalition forces have been attacked at least ten separate times in Iraq and three separate times in Syria via a mix of one-way attack drones and rockets…
We know that the groups conducting these attacks are supported by the IRGC and the Iranian regime. We are seeing the prospect for more significant escalation against U.S. forces and personnel across the region in the near term coming from Iranian proxy forces and, ultimately, from Iran.
So, by virtue of our announcement over the weekend, we are preparing for this escalation, both in terms of defending our forces and responding decisively."
Talking about someone being “adult” these days, it’s usually a comparison to people who are technically adults but who act like children. Look at the people on center stage America now — Republican clowns in the House, childishly narcissistic Donald Trump, juveniles on Fox News, forever infantile Elon Musk, fraudulent RFK Jr., greedy CEOs who are raking in record compensation yet refusing to raise the wages of their front-line workers, spoiled financiers who make even bigger bets with other people’s money — I’m appalled at how few adults are in the room.
There is at least one adult in the American room and the global room: Joe Biden.
Biden gave a pitch-perfect speech about the October 7 massacres, holding Hamas clearly and firmly accountable. He said publicly that an Israeli occupation of Gaza would be a “big mistake.” He quietly and shrewdly engaged Arab heads of state to help keep the lid on. While Republicans accuse Biden of being responsible for the massacre because of $6 billion promised to Iran in exchange for prisoners (which has not been delivered), Biden risked his life on a trip to Israel. He brokered a deal with Egypt to allow truckloads of aid into Gaza.
Republicans belly-ache that Biden has no policy for the Middle East. He negotiated beginnings of a Saudi-Israeli peace pact to make considerable concessions to Palestinians, the single best opportunity for more ordinary life for Palestinians and Israelis since assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and Anwar Sadat.
While Republican Senator Thomas Tuberville holds nominations of 301 senior military leaders to force an end to DoD’s equal access to female reproductive health care services, Biden supports the military and women’s right to bodily autonomy.
‘fight people who voted for tRump’?…. no… pity them… yes…try to educate them…don’t bother they cannot reason…and get headaches if they read anything that’s not on thuth social… so best to tolerate them and say a prayer for them…and then make sure EVERYONE you know votes…and vote them and their right wing .. flunkies out….

Guaranteed to get you nothing. Cut off funding for all foreign wars, our country is crumbling, spend the money on our infrastructure.

Good one. If you set up a real table like that, you would be hung.

Trump was still in Afghanistan. The withdrawal was messy, but give Biden credit for finally getting out of there.

Tell me what wars Joe Biden has started. Facts, not opinion. Facts. None? Then this cartoon is stupid. Opinion that ignores facts is stupidity.
