If you thought Senator Bob Menendez was corrupt for taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash, bars of gold bullion and a Mercedes Benz luxury automobile, wait ’til you hear about Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito (and Chief Justice John Roberts who buries his head in the sand and, in the manner of Gym Jordan, looks the other way and sees nothing).

It seems that if you are a private citizen, a former president, the son of a president or even a sitting United States senator, if you commit crimes you can be indicted.

But there is, indeed, a two-tiered system of justice. Some people ARE above the law.

They are the ones who rule on the laws that everyone else has to obey, but who proclaim themselves exempt.

Question: if Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito get convicted of bribery or corruption, will they appeal their cases all the way to the Supreme Court?

Uncle Thomas and Menendez are two of a kind, it seems. But only one of these will be accountable for what he’s done. (Hint: it won’t be the one hiding behind his robe.) Comparing what Thomas has done and is still doing, he makes Menendez look like an amateur.

Roberts is a republican to the bone. He will NEVER act against a fellow republican. Now, if Sotomayor had been busted doing the stuff thomas has the “chief” would be looking for a way to kick her out as we speak.

Tell me about the “Biden crime family” crimes. Here’s my documented evidence of a FRACTION of the activities of trump:

trump repeatedly violated the emoluments clause.

ivanka received millions in trademarks from China

kushner received billions from saudi arabia

trump’s treasury secretary mnuchin told Congress that the trump administration would keep secret the names of the businesses that have received more than $500 billion in COVID-19 bailout fund.

    Now you go

For the record, I am as corrupt as a New Jersey wharf rat.

Anyone can give me a bribe, no guarantee that I will do anything, but, I am up for sale.

Cash, cheques, bank drafts, Kohl’s gift cards, all the same to me. Stuff it in my coat pocket, or slip some Krugerands under the door. All good.

The radical pseudo-theocratic “right” openly forgives the indulgences* of those who ruthlessly clawed their way to power. They despise the objectivity and breadth of public education and would limit it to taxpayer-funded private education that limits the scope of education to the straight and narrow unwritten creed that the voices [that only the chosen can hear] in their heads must be followed.

    * considering them to be privileges of the powerful chosen ones

If history records one single positive outcome of Clarence Thomas as a member of the USSC, it will only be that his actions resulted in (finally!) the establishment of a set of conduct requirements for the members of that legislative body — er … Court.

The bulk off laws from the bench came from liberal justices, who vote as a block for more often than the GOP appointees. Roberts goes out of his way to not overrule Congress. You cannot name a single decision where Thomas was swayed, and his vote was the deciding vote. I cannot say the same with as much certainty if you add in Alito, but I find it extremely unlikely they were both bought on the same decision. Mrs. Thomas disturbs me more than Clarence associating with rich people.

Sadly, we need look no further than how the Texas AG case was handled by Republicans to see the fate of Justice Thomas. Hence, I will continue to pray and VOTE for political leaders with a moral backbone and belief in the rule law [few as they may be].
