6.5/10 I’m not sure if anyone in here knows what Zoolander is but it’s still a funny joke to make Francis look like he actually has duck lips. Also, I’m pretty sure SPG* could have done something to hide Francis’s lips. SPG doesn’t understand what is going on with Francis’s lips, making it funnier. *thanks Daphnes Doodlebug for the school picture guy shortening
I get the reference, so that helps, and the lips are still a funny visual, but this is all very stock. I’m not saying it’s bad. Just saying as arcs go, we’ve done this many a time, and with rare variation. Francis doesn’t even feel that different than Nate.
Want a new SPG arc idea? Have him do one for each teacher and they all react differently. Have him participate in a photographer competition. Maybe he gets his pic taken and Nate and a bunch of kids who got bad pics from him in the past try and get revenge. There, 3 fresh arc ideas. Try them once in a while, Peirce.
These week-long storylines lend themselves to the book collections well, but not so much for the new-update-a-day formula. If you ask me, this strip could benefit from some more one-off jokes. It used to have a lot of them in the past.
ohhhhh no this is not going to be good my prediction is that francis is going to be a little angry with zoo lander because its like to make you have duck lips soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah 3/5
Hey guys. Collagen Mango here. As you can tell, this fantastic arc in Big Nate has inspired me to name myself such. What panel from what installment in this arc should my pfp be from?
Ideas, people? Otherwise I’ll keep it as this one.
Though this arc is a repeat, I actually like that Peirce is making Nate’s friends go through some trouble instead of just being commentators on Nate’s life

So he’s became the Nate of this arc

It is always Nate getting screwed on picture day so it is nice that it is Francis getting screwed for a change

You know, it feels like Peirce came up with another humiliate Nate arc, but just swapped him out with Francis to make it look like a new idea.

Interesting Band-Aid on the head of S.P.G. It reminds me of the one on the head of Irving this week over at Cathy.
