Oh dear, that’s nearly as bad as the Met! Though, of course, the Met bought their looted stuff recently, while the British Museum’s collections are mostly several hundred years old.

Yes, I know this is your country…. But I dug these up with cheap labor I hired from the locals so that makes it mine, and anything else I can grab!

The British museum had a request from Egypt to return their artifacts and the British museum refused and said we take better care of them and they won’t give them back

They have the biggest Egyptian art collection I have ever seen. The sarcophagus’s are so beautiful like they were painted yesterday. The mummy’s are incredibly well preserved!

I believe there are more antiquities from the Acropolis in the British Museum than there are in the Acropolis Museum in Athens.of course, the “Elgin Marbles” are still in the British Museum.

Isn’t there an Egyptian obelisk in Rome that was stolen a couple thousand years ago?

That’s exactly what I have been thinking! They stole a lot of the things in the museum, while they were enslaving people and exploiting the resources.

The reason the Pyramids are in Egypt is they were too big to cart off to England.

Mr. Wiggly: 1st panel. Not only did a staff member steal things so did a worm…so far unknown. Mr. Wiggly does seem to be better off. Hmmmm.
