Outdid the McRib? Serious.

Had a McRib once. Wasn’t impressed.

That last panel is harsh.Only time I’ve seen any kind of turnout at McDonald’s was when one was burning to the ground.

A magnet with Giggling fists might I say!!!

That’s gotta sting.

Since the meat in a McRib has no bones, I always assumed it came from pigs with exoskeletons (like the buggalos in “Futurama”), and there’s no way in the world I’d eat something like that.

On the plus side, since he came to town, pancake sales are way up!

The sheriff doesn’t realize that bad guys came looking for Rip way before he was in the job. The next step is to run him out of the county.

Oh, sure, blame the guy with the giggling knuckles.

The thing is they are right. Heroes like Rip exemplify the Weirdness Magnet trope. Addendum: Subsets of the trope. “If the events surrounding the character are possible, just staggeringly unlikely, then they’re a Coincidence Magnet. If they are related to mysteries they are a Mystery Magnet. The [main] title is reserved for those who draw the outright impossible.”

People in Gotham City say this to Batman, so at least Rip is in good company.

Perhaps he could still be a private detective. Does he still have that overcoat?
