The very notion that the Vice President, who is ON THE BALLOT WITH THE PRESIDENT, could change the rules so that he/she is winning is out of line with the checks and balances the founders put in place!

Trump’s intent was to get his way; you might get away with that if you owned the company but you don’t own the USA.

As I understand it there was two Congress reps that had Senators ready tp approve their request for an audit of the vote. Pence didn’t call on them. The public being allowed into the building stoppped the proceedings. Trump and America lost. Nancy was instrumental in letting the public in.

He is 2 1/2 years too late in finally denouncing what trump did. He had his chance on Jan6 to say that this was not right, he should have started the 25th amendment and taken a stand then. instead he waits until he wants a job that he is totally unqualified for because he doesn’t have a backbone. we were lucky that nothing happened under trump that would have made him president even for a day, he would just sit and nod. I dislike trump a lot, but pence was just a waste of space in a chair!

Will Mike Pence be called to testify against Traitor45? Seems like new ground for the U.S. is being made constantly with Traitor45.

Pence may be a lot of things, but stupid isn’t one of them! In fact to me, that whole thing was a political setup from Day 1! I’d like to say that he was a “presidential flunky”! But at least now he’s grown a pair and opted not to go down with the “Trump ship”! And in the remote chance Pence does become president, I’m betting that he’d be a sleeper. Meaning that when the going gets tough, the tough get going!

The House counts the electoral votes for president. The Senate counts the electoral votes for vice president. It is the right of any member of Congress to challenge any state’s electoral vote. Mike Pense had no control over who the House certified as president. Trump was stupid to ask for what couldn’t be done.

Without mentioning her by name, Donald Trump went on a diatribe on Sunday morning and attacked United States District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Tanya Chutkan hours after she shot down a request for an extension on a Monday afternoon deadline.

The former president had demanded three-day extension for his lawyers to respond to a motion for a protective order requested by the Department of Justice, only to be denied.

With the judge standing firm, the former president is now claiming he can’t get a fair trial if she is presiding.

Al, you’re not helping Pence’s election chances. Not one iota. Remember his performance in the 2016 primary vote before DJT chose him as running mate? He finished 30th in a field of 39. In 2020, he didn’t even bother to run.

Besides Mike’s pet fly, the only one who can be guaranteed to outperform him in the race for the bottom, every time, is Kamala Harris.

Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris cheated for Bush Jr. in 2000 by removing people from the Florida voting roles because their names were similar to felons from Texas. Bush Jr.’s cousin worked for Fox mews during that election and “called” a win in Florida before the polls were even closed. SCOTUS illegitimately called the election for Bush, even stating that their “decision” should NEVER be used as precedent.

When Al Gore was presiding over the confirmation in the Senate, the Black Caucus submitted a request for an audit of the election because of those actions in Florida and other similar ones suppressing minority votes. All it would have required was to have ONE Senator to have the spine to back them, and then ALL of the votes in FL would have been counted, which subsequent studies showed Gore WON.

Pence did not overturn the election.

Donald Trump conspired to overthrow the government and to stay in power illegally. This is NOT in dispute. The only questions left are whether his actions rise to a criminal level and what the American people are (or are not) going to do about it electorally.

America got “President” Trump because it didn’t take the election seriously, electing the worst presidential candidate in history. But now? Now there is a huge slice of America not wanting democracy at all if it leads to a pluralistic society. Donald Trump heads up that group, and no Republican is going to wrest it away from him.
