I met Michael Jackson, and I asked him about doing the moonwalk, and he said he doesn’t do that. As far as I know, he’s still alive; and he likes Star Trek a lot.

Nike’s slogan just do it were inspired by the last words of Gary Gilmore, a murderer on death row.
Pandemic over, the streets are now swarming with so many folks always in one’s way — the worst are the phone zombies that never look up as they almost crash into you.
Good job, Willow. I often wonder if we humans deserve such loyal friends as dogs and cats, especially when I from time to time read about cruelties set upon them by some people.
May the adored be with you as they are with me. And gesundheit.
Elvis Presley tried going to the movies incognito one time. He was recognized and a crowd started forming around him. His wife then shouted “STEVE! You better not be doing your stupid Elvis skit again!” The crowd dispersed and they watched the movie in peace.
Actually, the cat was starting to eat Amanda for dinner and that woke her up. Michael could have just went shopping after the store closed on one of his many sleepless nights.
Michael could have saved some money if he just would have made a deal with the store manager to shop after the store closed. Unless of course the store was opened 24 hours a day. When I worked in retail, we would close at 9 pm but still stock the selves for a few hours after closing.
Why do we use expressions like “Willow the cat” or “Chester the bear”? Is there only one cat? Is there only one bear? Why not “Will, a cat, …” or “Chester, a brown bear, …” ?

I’d be annoyed to go to a supermarket, and being told, “oh, you can’t come in, we’re closed so that Michael Jackson can shop in peace”.

Condi Rice had a local grocery store closed when she returned to Stanford so she and her girl friend could shop in peace as well a few years ago.

You’d think Michael Jackson would’ve been rich enough to pay someone to shop for him
