I’m a fan of cashless bail for non-violent crimes. Unless, that is, the crime involves monetary amounts in the millions. Then I say no bail. As for riots…what? When was the last riot since 1/6? And frankly, most every riot (like 1/6) can be traced to the radical right. As for murder, if you want to avoid that, stay away from the rural areas — they have more per capita.

Good luck finding that town and the crime and murders rates are higher than any cities. Republican’s live in their fantasy world and democrat’s must live in the real world.

Having vacationed in NYC recently, I can (anecdotally) report that I saw TWO cases of on the street drug use and ONE on the street road rage beef that might have escalated. It did not. Bystanders deescalated it. Considering the 1000s of people I saw and balancing it with the fantastic opportunities in a big city the number is infinitesimally small.

Would I like to live there? No; way to loud for my old self. But to be so dismissive of the economic engines of this country is to turn a blind, ignorant eye to the problems endemic in the “paradise” of smaller communities.

While watching the video by Jason Aldean, I kept waiting to see a clip of the violence against the police from Jan. 6. Funny thing is, it was never included. Why? It included the famous site of a lynching however.

Going back to their impoverished red state where she will be tried for murder if she has an abortion.

I wish hate wasn’t such a defining characteristic of conservatives nowadays. It seems like casual cruelty was a fringe thing when I was younger.

Unfortunately my remembrance that they didn’t used to be this way probably isn’t based on reality, but how I prefer to remember the past.

I grew up in NYC and left at 23. I’ve lived in teeny tiny towns through out the country ever since. Jason Aldean’s song is pure fantasy. A right winger wishing he could beat up anyone he doesn’t like. But that’s the right wing schtick, isn’t it.

The video is made up largely of news clips showing protests, riots and police confrontations in cities — at least some of which took place during Black Lives Matter demonstrations prompted by police killings. Other clips show an attempted convenience store robbery and other apparent crimes.

These alternate with shots of Aldean and his band performing in the public square of Columbia, Tenn. — population about 45,000.

Hey Daeder: White Democrats formed the Confederacy to keep their Black slaves. When Republicans defeated them and freed their slaves, Democrats formed the KKK to lynch ‘uppity’ freed slaves. Then Democrats wrote all the Jim Crow segregationist laws. Then Lyndon Johnson and the Democrats destroyed Black families by setting up Welfare with rules saying a woman couldn’t get Welfare if the father was part of the family. All the cities that allowed riots and burn downs and gang warfare have been run by Democrats for DECADES.

I’ve lived in a small town for 25 years now, the majority of crime in my County is committed by city dwellers coming up to our Indian casinos. I hate those criminal magnets.
