Wearing loose cotton clothing is much cooler, and protects you like a sunscreen, at least to a limited extent. A shade umbrella would help a lot, too. :D
3 actual skin cancers removed so far. Basal cell and squamous cell. Not one of them were where the sun ever shines. No I’m not saying don’t use sunscreen. Sunburns are bad. But…. Just saying.
I’m thinking about my High School friend fighting melanoma; if they take anymore skin off of the top of his head and pull the edges together….he’ll have ears mounted like our GSD….
This is not a laughing matter here in Australia. Skin cancer accounts for the largest number of cancers diagnosed in Australia each year. About two in three Australians will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer before the age of 70. Slip, slop, slap.

When I was a kid, before sunblock, I would spend the summer outside without a shirt. I got a real good tan, but I’m paying for it now.

Moondog’s theory is that beer when consumed internally reduces the harmful affects of the sun’s ray at the expense of your liver.

Monty’ obsessive “vivid imagination” leads him to obsessive slathering of sunblock. Maybe his death won’t be from skin cancer, eh?
